unerwartete Musik: Hans Joachim Irmler, legendärer ‘faust’ Krautrock-Musiker, analoger Synthesizer und Orgel, trifft auf den Multi-Instrumentalisten Friedrich Glorian, Mitglied der deutschen Progrock-Band “prof. wolfff” der 70er Jahre, und die Stuttgarter Künstlerin und Musikerin Monika Nuber, analoge Visuals und Bass, mit einer langen Liste von Auszeichnungen und Stipendien. Eine klangliche Mischung aus Improvisation und Zusammenspiel, inspiriert von Nubers visuellen Sequenzen, durchsetzt mit hypnotischer Perkussion, spiegelt unerwartete Aspekte ihrer vielseitigen, langjährigen Arbeit wider. Die drei Musiker möchten sich und dem Publikum einen interessanten und überraschenden Abend bereiten.

unexpected music: Hans Joachim Irmler, legendary krautrock musician of ‘faust’ fame, analog synthesizer and organ, will be joined by multi-instrumentalist Friedrich Glorian, a member of the 70s German progrock band ‘prof. wolfff’, and Stuttgart-based artist and musician Monika Nuber, analog visuals and bass, with a long list of awards and scholarships. A sonic mixture of improvisation and interplay inspired by Nuber’s visual sequences, interspersed with hypnotic percussion, the music reflects unexpected aspects of their versatile work over many years. The three musicians wish to prepare themselves and the audience for an interesting and surprising evening.

IMAGES OF GOO is what Munich sound bricolageurs Leo Hopfinger aka LeRoy(head of Das Hobos, H, Spiritual Emojis and others) and Cico Beck akaJoasihno (active member of The Notwist, Aloa Input, Spirit Fest and others)call theirfirst musical dialogue in album format.It is equally a dialogue with the elements of their sonic repertoire of echovariations and sonic shadows from the percussive instrument box. In theirsum, a Wunderkammer of a panaudic, which can be approached anddeparted in six tracks per side.There we pass a fuzzy factoryflow music of sound tiles andfind ourselves inthe next station in a game of pot banging and gong shower withfirecrackersand other sound explosions. Tinpan tinkertoy and sparkler warehousebecome an offbeat downbeat of sound loops, and already we imagineourselves amid the hammering and pounding of a magic sound forge at thecenter of the earth, which may be the center of a distant galaxy.On side two, we enter a dripstone cave boogaloo (“Let’s start tripping”) andit drips candle wax from a vocoder space-age melody, emoting andcoagulating into a Morse-coding cumbia chant. Wax music this is – musicthat grows out of itself, even if by the means of tape and collage.At the end there is a music snake, which, having become snake music itself,disappears in front of our ears with a swing. And maybe this is the beginning …
