Berlin based band Gewalt condenses in most radical tongues the impossibility and inescapability of human existence.
This is the nucleus of Helen Henfling’s, Patrick Wagner’s and Jasmin Rilke’s art. The facade is machine beats, clinking guitars, the din, the beauty of sonic pressure and the absence of any light, and smells like industrial and noise.
But behind this facade there are countless questions such as: „can we dance misery?“ or „Can we feel and hear every word of Gewalt at the same time?“.

Die Inspiration für Kommissar Schückes klangliche Provokationen stammt von dem psychedelischen Doom, Dub, Punk und frühen Techno, den er in seiner Jugend im München der 80er und 90er Jahre hörte. Wie seine frühen Punk & Country – DJ-Sets wurzelt auch sein neuerer Mix-Stil in Sounds, die aus dem DIY-Noise der ersten Welle und skandinavischem Space-Techno kommen. Ein Ansatz, der den tribalen, foggy Sound der Flying Carpet Shows in den letzten Jahren mit definiert hat.
The inspiration for Kommissar Schücke’s sonic provocations comes from the psychedelic doom, dub, punk and early techno he heard in his youth in Munich in the 80s and 90s. Like his early punk & country DJ sets, his newer mix style is rooted in sounds derived from first-wave DIY noise and Scandinavian space techno. An approach that has helped define the tribal, foggy sound of the Flying Carpet Shows in recent years.
